A Delightful Korean BBQ Experience at Cheonggyesan Galbisal near Gangnam-gu Office Station
It had been a while since I last met up with a friend, so we decided to meet near Gangnam-gu Office Station.
Instead of a fancy place, we were looking for somewhere comfortable and relaxed. That's when we stumbled upon a restaurant called Cheonggyesan Galbisal!
I searched for "Korean beef restaurant near Gangnam-gu Office Station" online, and the reviews were quite good, so I was honestly looking forward to it!
The restaurant had a spacious parking lot, so we didn't have to worry about parking. The accessibility was also excellent.
The atmosphere inside was clean and cozy. It wasn't too formal and had just the right amount of comfortable vibes.
The tables were spaced far enough apart that we could enjoy our meal without being bothered by other tables.
Looking at the menu, they had various cuts of beef, including galbisal (short rib), sirloin, and hanger steak. After some deliberation, we ordered two servings of galbisal. Here's a picture of our amazing view:
The side dishes were incredibly generous! Kimchi, salad, various types of jeotgal (fermented seafood), and each one felt carefully prepared. The perilla leaf pickles were especially delicious. They went perfectly with the meat!
Finally, the galbisal arrived, and the quality of the meat was fantastic. The marbling was beautiful, and the color was vibrant and fresh.
The staff were friendly and helped us grill the meat, even teaching us how to grill it properly. The meat literally melted in my mouth! It was incredibly tender and juicy. I can definitely say that this place is a galbisal 맛집 (delicious restaurant) near Gangnam-gu Office Station!
We also ordered a doenjang sulbap (soybean paste stew with rice), and it was also amazing. The savory doenjang flavor, combined with the rice and alcohol, went down so smoothly. Hehe. For dessert, we had naengmyeon (cold noodles), which was refreshing and clean. The noodles were chewy, and the broth was clean, washing away any greasiness.
The owner was incredibly kind. They helped us grill the meat and were constantly attentive, which was impressive. Thanks to them, we had an even more enjoyable meal.
The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent – a place that has it all!

The parking is convenient, and the accessibility is good, making it a great spot for a date! Next time I meet up with friends near Gangnam-gu Office Station, I definitely want to visit this place again. Next time, I want to try the hanger steak or sirloin.
I really enjoyed the meal!! Also, there were so many delicious side dishes that went perfectly with the meat. I enjoyed being able to enjoy the many sides!
