A Delightful Experience at Baekun Aekko Korean Traditional Cuisine

Recently, I've been seeking healthier and more thoughtful Korean meals when dining out.
That's why I decided to visit Baekun Aekko, a traditional Korean restaurant.
One of the main reasons for my visit was that it is pet-friendly.
I arrived slightly after lunchtime, so the restaurant was quite empty.
As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a calm and elegant atmosphere.
The place was neatly organized, which made me feel relaxed even before the meal began.
I took my seat as guided.
The dishes I ordered were for two: spicy octopus and stir-fried pork. All menu items must be ordered for two people.
Since there were three of us, we ordered for two and added extra pork and rice.
I wanted to try a variety of dishes.
Once seated, the food started arriving one by one, and true to the traditional style, a variety of side dishes were beautifully arranged.
Each dish was not overly extravagant, yet it felt like careful attention had been paid to every detail.
The overall flavor was not overwhelming but rather mild, making it easy to enjoy.
What stood out to me were the dishes that preserved the natural flavors of the ingredients.
Having grown accustomed to more intense flavors lately, I found this subtle taste even more appealing.
The food was clean and left me feeling comfortable, making it a good choice for dining with my parents.
The flavors were not strong, and there was a self-serve corner for refilling side dishes.
While the restaurant is pet-friendly, dogs are required to stay in their carriers or bags.
Dogs are allowed entry, but they cannot stick their heads out of the bags.
After the meal, there were simple drinks available.
There was also a seating area for drinks.
While I was satisfied with the meal, the pet-friendly aspect was somewhat lacking.
✔ I recommend this place for:
Those looking for a dining spot with their parents, those who enjoy neat Korean cuisine, and those who want to dine in a quiet atmosphere.
Although it was just one meal, it felt more like a time to relax rather than just filling my stomach.
Next time, I think it would be a great restaurant to visit with family for Parents' Day.
I would love to visit again :)
