A Delightful Day Out with Mom

On January 10, 2026, Dad went out to play golf with his friends, which gave me the chance to go on a long-awaited date with Mom!

We wanted to enjoy some really delicious pasta, so after searching around, we made a reservation at 'Catch Table'!

Everyone, make sure to reserve in advance!

It was an unusually windy day, and I couldn't resist taking a picture of the cute sign on the way.

I had made a reservation for Saturday lunch at 1:30 PM, and as expected from a popular place, it was packed with people.

We sat at the bar table, and since it was an open kitchen, we could see all the cooking happening. It must be tough to maintain cleanliness with so many eyes watching, but it was comforting for us as customers to see the whole cooking process!

We started off with two glasses of white wine. I wanted to order a bottle, but knowing we wouldn't finish it, we opted for house wine instead.

For anyone who enjoys wine, I highly recommend it!

The staff kindly explained the dishes, but I can't remember the details now...

However, it definitely enhances the experience when you listen to the descriptions!

We were told we could just pick it up with our hands and take a bite. It was delicious, and I recommend it!

The bean curd pasta was something special! Who would have thought to make pasta with bean curd? I love bean curd, and this was a whole new world for me!

We were advised to mix the squid and caviar on top, and it was wonderfully savory and light. It paired perfectly with the white wine.

Next was the shrimp pasta, made with a bisque sauce. It had a completely different flavor from the bean curd pasta and was also delicious!

This one was easy to eat with a spoon.

For dessert, we couldn't resist the Earl Grey tiramisu! But I was disappointed that the portion was so small.

I wished there was more!

Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I would love to go back again. Maybe I'll return when I have a boyfriend!

For my mom, who loves pudding, I also looked for a pudding spot. What a great daughter I am!

I had a Jeju hojicha latte, and Mom had a kitsune cream. Both were delicious!

Everything we ate that day was delightful, including the pudding and chestnut cheesecake. Both were sweet and satisfying!

After the date, I practiced piano for the first time in a while, and I was glad I hadn't forgotten how to play!

I need to keep practicing diligently!

After running the day before, I caught a cold, but I found some Theraflu. It worked well and tasted good!

I hope I recover from this cold soon!
