A Delicious Seafood Feast at Hwanggeum Badge Pyoseon: A Local Favorite in Jeju!
Finally, my friends and I embarked on our long-awaited trip to Jeju Island!
As soon as we arrived, our first destination was Pyoseon!
We headed straight to 'Hwanggeum Badge Pyoseon,' located near Haevichi Beach.
I had been curious about this place because of all the great reviews I saw on Instagram.
First off, the location was perfect, super close to Haevichi Resort.
It was less than a 5-minute drive.
The fact that the owner runs the place himself made it even more exciting.
Without hesitation, we ordered their signature 'Assorted Special' platter.
The fish, called 'Gomunjaeng', was incredibly fresh – the freshness was something else!
And then, I tried mackerel sashimi for the first time!
Absolutely no fishy taste – it melted in my mouth like a dream.
Following the owner's tip, we wrapped it in seaweed served in a tall glass, which was unexpectedly delicious.
As we were finishing the sashimi, we asked for the spicy fish stew (Maeuntang).
One sip of the bubbling, spicy broth, and the soju went down so smoothly!
And of course, we had to add extra seafood for the grand finale!
Everyone was amazed by the generous platter of seafood.
They served a wide variety of fresh seafood, so we just kept eating and eating.
The value for money was great, and the owner's kindness made it perfect.
No wonder the locals recommend this restaurant!
If you're heading to Pyoseon, which isn't far from the tourist area, you should definitely check this place out.
My friends and I created happy memories and left with full bellies!
