A Delicious Recommendation: Yukdaejang in Siheung Daeya-dong

Today, I visited Yukdaejang in Siheung Daeya-dong, recommended by my father-in-law!
The exterior of the building looked a bit old.
You need to go up the stairs to find Yukdaejang on the 2nd floor.
The interior was pleasant and even had floor seating.
Yukdaejang has been visited by many celebrities, from Song Dae-gwan to Song Hae. Seeing the autographs of famous people hanging on the wall made me trust the restaurant even more.
The side dishes were fishcake and radish kimchi. The fishcake was boiled, so it was a bit mushy and might be a hit or miss for some people.
But the radish kimchi was perfectly ripe and delicious. I refilled it twice!
It took a little while because they cook each serving individually.
I ordered the Traditional Yukgaejang (spicy beef soup) for ₩11,000. It comes with a bowl of rice.
The broth was really delicious! It wasn't overly stimulating but had a savory and clean taste, which I liked.
There are glass noodles inside.
I ate them before they got soggy, and they were cooked perfectly!
Actually, I've eaten at Yukdaejang at several locations, so I didn't have high expectations.
But the Siheung Daeya-dong branch was the most delicious in my opinion.
The clean and savory broth is a masterpiece.
Even though I don't usually expect much from chain restaurants,
I feel good when I visit such a delicious branch! 😊✨
Besides Yukgaejang, they also have Yukkal (Yukgaejang noodle soup), Mandu-guk (dumpling soup), and Budae-jjigae (sausage stew), so come and try them!
I recommend it for its authentic Yukgaejang flavor!
