A Delicious Korean BBQ Experience at Gosam Restaurant

I recently visited Gosam Restaurant, a place I've always been curious about because it's always bustling with customers and the aroma of grilling meat is irresistible!

I wasn't planning on drinking, but following the owner's recommended way of eating the meat made it impossible not to indulge. So, I ended up walking home after having drinks!

Even though it's a Korean BBQ place, I loved the beautiful interior. It was even prettier on a rainy evening. I sat by the window, and the rain created a lovely ambiance.

They also have a separate area for group seating, making it perfect for company dinners!

We ordered the set menu with pork belly (samgyeopsal), pork shoulder (moksal), and thinly sliced pork belly (daepae samgyeopsal). The quality of the meat was excellent!

Gosam Restaurant is incredibly generous with its side dishes (banchan). The basic sides were already great, but I was surprised and delighted to receive complimentary kimchi stew (kimchi jjigae), steamed egg (gyeran jjim), and a spicy radish soup! All of this was free of charge.

The pork belly was thick and juicy, the pork shoulder was tender and flavorful, and the thinly sliced pork belly cooked quickly and was perfect for wrapping with rice. All three types of meat were delicious, keeping my chopsticks busy the entire time!

The restaurant has a clean and pleasant atmosphere, and the staff are friendly, especially the owner! They were kind enough to explain the best way to enjoy the meat and even grilled and served it for us when they weren't busy. So touching!

There are many families and office workers from nearby during lunch hours! It definitely feels like a local favorite.

If you're looking for a Korean BBQ restaurant near Pyeongtaek Godeok with good value and generous portions, I highly recommend Gosam Restaurant! The pork belly is delicious, and the side dishes are so plentiful that it doesn't feel like a waste of money at all!

I'm planning on visiting again with my friends next time!!
