Recently, I visited Seoul Forest and Seongsu with my family, and we had some incredibly delicious gopchang (grilled small intestines)!
I had wanted to try this gopchang restaurant for a while, and it turns out it's a famous place featured on "Restaurant on a Queue" and "Omniscient Interfering View!"
No wonder the quality was different...
Soinsu Seoul's interior is trendy and pretty, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, which I really appreciated.
I imagine there's a long wait on weekends, but we went on a weekday and made a reservation in advance, so we were able to get in right away. Even the waiting chairs are stylish!
The staff member (or maybe it was the owner?) guided us to our reserved seats and had set up a handwritten name card for me! It was so touching.
And apparently, I was the 157,791st customer! These small details make customers feel good.
These days, many restaurants seem friendly but can actually be unpleasant. But at Soinsu Seoul, from the moment we walked in until we left, we felt taken care of and happy.
The side dishes, including kimchi and sauces, were varied and refreshing, making them perfect to eat with the gopchang. The sauces were also very delicious!
Soinsu Seoul has wide tables, making it ideal for group gatherings. In fact, there were many groups of friends, families like us, and other gatherings.
The interior of Soinsu Seoul is definitely trendy.
I plan to go again with my friends next time! The aprons were conveniently located right next to our seats, and there was cool bottled water next to the kiosk.
I could immediately see why this place is so successful!

Cloud Draft Beer - ₩5,000
You can't have gopchang without alcohol! We started with refreshing draft beers.
The draft beer was smooth and easy to drink, so I finished a glass in no time!
Assorted Grill (곱창, 염통, 대창) - ₩29,000 per person
We ordered the assorted grill, which includes gopchang, yeomtong (heart), and daechang (large intestine).
The staff even drew a heart shape with the sauce! So pretty...
All the meats, including the gopchang, yeomtong, and daechang, were incredibly delicious without any unpleasant odors!
Special Yang Fried Rice (특양밥) - ₩12,000
I couldn't resist trying the fried rice with special yang (beef tripe). My younger sibling and I fell in love with it. The fried egg on top made it even more satisfying!
While everything on the assorted grill was delicious, we especially loved the gopchang!
So... we ordered an additional two servings of gopchang!
This is the yeomtong (heart) that I couldn't show you earlier. It was tender, chewy, and just delicious!
And our family's favorite pick! The gopchang is also incredibly tasty.
The special yang fried rice is the perfect accompaniment to the gopchang. I would have regretted not ordering it!
We like our gopchang well-done, so we grilled it for a long time before eating.
