A Delicious Gopchang Experience at 60-Year Tradition Sinchon Hwangso Gopchang, Konkuk University Branch

After a long time, my friend and I wanted to enjoy some delicious gopchang near Konkuk University. After searching around, we discovered 60-Year Tradition Sinchon Hwangso Gopchang, Konkuk University Branch.

I was already familiar with it as a well-known gopchang restaurant in the Konkuk University area, and the reviews were so good that I visited with high expectations.

What's great is that they open early, so you can enjoy gopchang starting from lunch!

They're open from 1 PM to 11:30 PM from Monday to Saturday, and until 11 PM on Saturdays, so it's nice that you can visit at your leisure.

For the two of us, we ordered a 3-person assortment (raw gopchang for 2 people + Hwangso gopchang for 1 person), totaling ₩67,900.

Right after ordering, they prepared a zero-calorie cola for us, so we could start without worrying about drinks.

After the basic table setting was prepared, the staff directly cooked the gopchang for us. It was satisfying just to see how full it was.

They even explained how to best enjoy the gopchang, so even beginners could enjoy it without any pressure.

The honeycomb tripe was chewy, the yanggimori (beef membrane) was really savory, and the yeomtong (heart) was both rich and flavorful, so my friend and I devoured it in silence.

With each bite, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Indeed, a great gopchang restaurant in Konkuk University!"

My friend especially liked the bean sprout soup that came with the basic setting, and almost finished an entire bowl by himself.

The staff service was also excellent.

While we were waiting for the food, they offered us aprons and guided us to a seat inside, saying that the area might get splattered with oil. Thanks to their thoughtful consideration, we were able to have a comfortable meal.

Moreover, the restroom was clean, so my overall satisfaction was high.

It's rare to find a place with both such great service and taste. I immediately wanted to visit again.

In the end, we were so satisfied with this visit that we decided that if we ever want to eat gopchang in the Konkuk University area again, we'll definitely visit 60-Year Tradition Sinchon Hwangso Gopchang, Konkuk University Branch. I can confidently recommend it as a great restaurant in the Konkuk University area, and the overall dining experience, not just the gopchang, was excellent. My friend and I had a great time together.
