A Delicious Day Out: Discovering My New Favorite Tonkatsu Spot!

It's another sunny day!

Headed to Kawakatsu! Turns out, this is the main branch. Today's agenda: Using my last 50% off coupon at Paris Baguette. But, the salad sandwich was sold out?! Disappointed, I got a chocolate cake instead (Paris Baguette chocolate cake is the best!). After running errands at the bank, it was finally time to decide what to have for lunch, hehe.

I originally planned to go to Otsukare Hapjeong. But while I was on the bus, I spotted this place. A quick search revealed it to be a popular restaurant?!

Lucky me, I got in without any wait. The prices are a bit on the higher side. But I guess that's expected for this type of tonkatsu restaurant? Since I was craving curry, I also ordered a side of curry.

Honestly, I usually don't follow the [recommended way to eat] that each restaurant provides. I prefer to eat how I want. I tried following the instructions at first, but 8 out of 10 times it wasn't great. But...but!

Finally, the assorted tonkatsu arrived. How good could it be?

Oh my... you HAVE to try it with the olive oil!!!

(They recommend olive oil + salt, but I preferred just the olive oil, haha.)

Enjoyed a bit of wasabi in between, and also dipped it in the curry. Hahaha

Just like Sarukame, this is another restaurant where you MUST eat it the recommended way! Good good.

Next time I'll have to try the chicken katsu!

August 20th, memorable moments:

- The tonkatsu was めちゃくちゃ delicious (extremely delicious)!

- While eating, for the first time in my life, I had left-handed people sitting on both sides of me. I know there are more left-handed people these days, but this was a first! A truly fascinating experience!

Which means summer is ending.

Ugh, so sad. Really, really sad..

But autumn, which I love, is coming!

But this semester's schedule... is a bit tough, hehe.
