Hello everyone! Today I visited Ilpoom Daepae Icheon, a newly opened restaurant in Jeungpo-dong. I'm excited to introduce you to this amazing place, a true Jeungpo-dong 맛집 (delicious restaurant) offering affordable meat, a wide variety, and even a salad bar!

Here's the exterior of Ilpoom Daepae Icheon. It's located right in front of an apartment complex and next to the main road, making it easy to find. As expected of a Jeungpo-dong 맛집, it was quite busy even in the early evening, with the front parking lot already full. Luckily, Ilpoom Daepae is a large restaurant and has two parking lots, which is fantastic.

Here's a look inside. I was surprised by how spacious it was! The first impression of the restaurant was that it was clean and very large, which I liked.

There's even a waiting area with arcade games to keep you entertained while you wait! This is great for kids (and adults!) who might get bored. It's a fun way to pass the time while waiting for a table.

I took some pictures of the amusing phrases on the walls.

The restrooms are located inside. The tables are primarily for four people, but there are also large tables that can accommodate groups. The tables behind offer enough space for group privacy without disturbing the others.

They also have baby chairs and cutlery (spoons and forks) for children.

Self-Serve Corner

Ilpoom Daepae Icheon has a self-serve corner with over 30 salad bar items! This Jeungpo-dong 맛집 truly offers amazing value. The selection was diverse and plentiful. 

The vegetables looked incredibly fresh. They were refilling the dishes constantly because it was so busy, which was great. There was also a variety of mushrooms, as well as two types of bean sprouts. It's nice to be able to choose what you like.

The trays let you carry all your dishes at once. Ilpoom Daepae Icheon offers a variety of dipping sauces as well.

Even now, just looking at the pictures makes my mouth water.

Ilpoom Daepae Icheon's menu includes a variety of meats at affordable prices: regular daepae (thinly sliced pork belly), gochujang (chili paste) daepae, flash-frozen pork belly, beef brisket, Korean beef sirloin, duck, and more.

Salad Bar Fee: ₩6,000 for 4 People

Black Pork Daepae (2 Servings): ₩7,800

Gochujang Daepae (2 Servings): ₩9,800

Flash-Frozen Pork Belly (1 Serving): ₩4,900

Beef Brisket Daepae (1 Serving): ₩4,900

Bibimbap (2 Bowls): ₩4,000

We visited with two adults and two children. All meat is 100g per serving, and the first order must be at least 500g. The salad bar fee is waived for children under 7!

We brought a generous selection of side dishes from the salad bar and started grilling the meat! We started with the black pork daepae to taste the basics.

Wow, it cooked so quickly, which is great! That's the advantage of daepae! You don't have to wait long to eat. We let the vegetables cook a little longer while we started with the meat!

Eating it with onions eliminates any greasy flavor, so you can eat even more!

We also tried the gochujang daepae! It wasn't too spicy, so the kids enjoyed it as well.

Time to eat!

Ilpoom Daepae Icheon has such a wide variety of vegetables that you can enjoy the meat in many different ways, so you don't get tired of it.

After eating a lot of meat, we took a break with some rice cakes, potatoes, and eggplant. It was so delicious that we got more twice! The side dishes were perfect, and we visited the salad bar several times. Being able to enjoy all of this for such a low price is amazing.

And of course, you can't have Korean BBQ without fried rice! It's a self-serve fried rice, which means you can add whatever you want!

I added more bracken and bean sprouts from the side dishes, and a little extra kimchi! I made my own fried rice.

A heart shape is complete! I added rice cakes and lettuce to the fried rice, and it was delicious!

The perfect way to finish the meal at Ilpoom Daepae Icheon is with coffee!

There's parking right next to the restaurant and a dedicated Ilpoom Daepae parking lot diagonally across the street. With two parking lots, you don't have to worry about parking.

Overall, this is a place where you can enjoy a variety of meats at an affordable price, with a self-serve bar offering over 30 different options! This has been my review of Ilpoom Daepae Icheon!
