Top Student Senior Lee Chan-won Surprises High School Seniors with Encouragement

Singer Lee Chan-won recently visited his alma mater, Kyungwon High School, to support his junior students. This visit marks the second installment of his 'Youth Support Project'.
The upcoming KBS2 entertainment show 'New Restaurant Menu' on the 24th will feature this heartwarming event. Previously, in the first project, he gifted a hearty meal to his juniors at Yeungnam University, leaving a lasting impression.
This particular visit was specially arranged for the high school seniors who are about to take the national university entrance exam.
It is said that he kept his promise to his former teacher that he would visit his alma mater.
On the day of filming, Lee Chan-won carefully entered the school, trying not to be seen.
This was a surprise event unknown to most of the faculty and all of the students.
When Lee Chan-won suddenly appeared in the auditorium with 600 students, there was an explosive roar.
He shared his feelings: "I've performed in so many concerts since my debut, but I think today is the most exciting and meaningful moment."
In addition to his singing performance, he listened to the concerns of his juniors, trying to ease their burdens.
With the university entrance exam just around the corner, this event was a great comfort to the anxious and sensitive high school seniors.
The students expressed their gratitude, saying, "All the stress is gone," and "It was really fun," with bright smiles.
Thanks to Lee Chan-won's sincerity, the atmosphere in the auditorium was filled with laughter and cheers, providing a precious time to forget their worries for a while.
Lee Chan-won also ran a 'Chan-to Snack Truck' late into the night for the seniors studying late at school.
He reportedly made and provided 200 servings of fried chicken with puffed rice.
This event, which took care of both taste and sincerity, earned him the praise of being a "really cool senior" among the students.
Lee Chan-won was famous as a 'brainiac' since his school days. He revealed on a past broadcast,
"I always got a perfect score in social studies. I got a perfect score on the university entrance exam, and I never missed the top spot in the entire school from the first grade to the third grade of high school in both midterms and finals."
If such a senior comes to encourage them, it would be a great motivation for the juniors.
