Kim Hee-sun: "My Daughter Yeon-ah is Majoring in Cello in the US... Even Studying Cars Because of a Crush"
Actress Kim Hee-sun shared an update on her daughter, Yeon-ah, who is studying abroad in the United States.
Kim Hee-sun recently appeared on the YouTube channel ‘TEO Salon Drip’ and candidly shared amusing stories about her daily life with her daughter, eliciting laughter.
Daughter Yeon-ah Majoring in Cello While Studying Abroad
Kim Hee-sun said, "Yeon-ah is learning the cello abroad. She didn't really know that her mom was an actress before, but after her friends on Netflix said, 'Your mom is on there,' she's become a bit proud."
Regarding the topics of conversation with her daughter, she playfully said, "We talk about school, and these days, a lot about boyfriends(?)." She added with a laugh, "She said that because the boy she has a crush on said his cello was heavy, she pressed the elevator button for him instead."

Kim Hee-sun shared, "One day, Yeon-ah suddenly started asking about cars. It turned out that the boy she likes bought a car, so she needed to know about cars to keep the conversation going. So, my husband directly taught her about cars."
She continued, "My daughter still only knows about things with four wheels," and burst into laughter.
"Dad Couldn't Open His Eyes Looking at Her Homecoming Dress"
Kim Hee-sun, known for her exceptional fashion sense, revealed that she even takes care of her daughter's clothes.
"Since I've been choosing her clothes since she was a baby, she has a hard time making decisions on her own," she said. "Even now, if she has an important appointment, she sends me several photos and asks for my opinion."
She added, "I was looking at dresses for her homecoming party, and they kept getting shorter and shorter. My husband couldn't really open his eyes looking at the photos and told her to 'just wear shorts underneath,'" she said with a laugh.

The conversation with her daughter also extended to stories about friends.
"She was complaining about her friend yesterday, and then the next day, they're laughing together. I even joined in on complaining, but if they're back together the next day, what does that make me?" she said, bringing laughter.

Living apart from her daughter who is studying abroad, Kim Hee-sun said, "I try to express my affection even more every time we meet. Yeon-ah waves her hands, but the more she does that, the more I express it," revealing her affectionate heart for her daughter.
Kim Hee-sun married businessman Park Joo-young in 2007 and has a daughter, Yeon-ah.
Yeon-ah is known to be a gifted child who received a perfect score on a giftedness test when she was young. She is currently continuing her studies in cello in Los Angeles, USA.
Meanwhile, Kim Hee-sun revealed on JTBC's 'Let's Eat Dinner Together' last year that "her daughter is very interested in microorganisms and cells," but in reality, she chose the path of art and is continuing her passion for music.
