Keanu Reeves Encountered a Fan Claiming to Be His 'Divine Wife' in New York

Keanu Reeves, known for his roles in the 'John Wick' and 'Matrix' series, encountered a female fan in New York City who claimed to be his 'divine wife.' The woman attempted to get into his car, but was stopped by his staff.
According to Page Six, after Reeves exited the Hudson Theatre, where he is currently starring in a revival of 'Waiting for Godot' on Broadway, a woman from the crowd of fans rushed towards him as he was getting into his waiting car.
Videos shared by fans on TikTok show the woman, dressed in gray sweats, shouting, "I am the divine wife!" and "I love you!" She placed her hand on the car door and attempted to get in, while staff members tried to restrain her.
The door remained closed, and the woman was apprehended by staff, ensuring Reeves was unharmed. It's worth noting that Reeves is in a stable relationship with visual artist Alexandra Grant. Last month, a "fake" marriage report circulated, much to the amusement of fans. Alexandra responded to the rumors on Instagram by sharing a photo of her kissing Keanu, saying, 'I wanted to share this photo to thank everyone who sent blessings on our marriage. But we are not married,' and 'We need good news these days but still, be careful it’s fake news! A little bit of true happiness!’ She cautioned everyone to be careful of fake news. Subsequently, Keanu, who appeared at an event with Alexandra, addressed the situation, praising his partner's response by saying, 'Marriage is great. You guys have been so sweet with all the well wishes. We’re not married, but we’ve been together. Alexandra is great. She did a really great job of responding.'
