Jung Seung Hwan Showcases Emotional Ballads in New Album

Jung Seung Hwan is set to demonstrate the power of emotional ballads through his new full-length album. From November 23rd to 24th, Jung Seung Hwan sequentially released two highlight medleys of his new album, 'Referred to as Love,' on his official YouTube channel.
The released videos feature snippets of the highlight audio and visually appealing scenes from a total of 10 tracks, including the double title tracks "Fringe" and "Happiness Is Difficult," as well as "Referred to as Love," "Such Love," "Unfinished," "Planet," "To Us," "Embrace," "What About You," and "Until Here," enhancing the immersive experience.
'Referred to as Love' includes the title track of the same name, featuring emotionally rich piano melodies; "Such Love," a lyrical ballad that clearly reveals the emotions of the song; "Unfinished," which blends a refreshing feel with sorrow, crossing between intellect and falsetto; and "Planet," which expresses Jung Seung Hwan's unique sensibility with fantastic acoustic guitar and synth sounds.
The album also includes "To Us," which leaves a subtle lingering feeling in the listener's heart with its signature appealing vocals; "Embrace," a self-composed track by Jung Seung Hwan that creates a deeper climax with a clear contrast between the first and second halves; "What About You," a song with minimalist accompaniment that calmly leads the center of the song, creating a refined yet rich emotion; and "Until Here," which Jung Seung Hwan recorded in one take while playing the piano.
Notably, the first title track, "Fringe," was written by Park Joo-young, a lyricist who has created numerous hit songs and adorned the era. The song effectively expresses the escalating emotions towards the latter half with his unique charm. The second title track, "Happiness Is Difficult," was composed by producer and singer-songwriter Cloud, who is captivating listeners with trendy sensibilities, creating an addictive retro-style city pop song.
In this way, Jung Seung Hwan sings about various landscapes of love throughout the entire album 'Referred to as Love,' which is being released nearly seven years after his previous full-length album. He is expected to present listeners with the 'essence of love' through his deepened emotions and musical color, including self-composed songs.
Jung Seung Hwan will release his full-length album 'Referred to as Love' on various music sites at 6 PM on the 30th, and then hold his year-end concert '2025 Jung Seung Hwan's Goodbye Winter' for three days from December 5th to 7th at Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
