On March 3rd, you can also observe the total lunar eclipse, so come here for a date!

The Yanggu National Central Observatory, located near the center of the Korean Peninsula, is an astronomical observation facility designed for stargazing.
Here, you can directly observe stars and enjoy exhibitions and explanations about the universe and celestial bodies in a fun and easy way.
Under the open sky, this space creates special moments that are hard to experience in daily life.
✅ Admission Fee: Adults 6,000 KRW, Military/Youth/Children 3,000 KRW
At the observatory, you can experience celestial observation! There is also an exhibition space themed around the universe and celestial bodies, where you can explore various information about stars and planets.
Don't forget to apply for the observation experience in advance and take your time to enjoy the internal exhibitions while waiting.
The observatory features a planetarium where you can sit comfortably and look up at the universe.
Experience various programs at the Yanggu National Central Observatory! You can wear space helmets and feel like you're boarding a spaceship, or try the space elevator experience.
There are various exhibitions themed around the universe, and telescopes are also displayed. This is a great space for curious kids to see and feel the wonders of space!
As you move around, you can read various information written along the walls, making the walk enjoyable.
In the media exhibition space, you can lie back on beanbags and watch videos about planets and the universe, creating a serene atmosphere.
A resting area is also available for reading books and taking a break. With a variety of exhibitions and experiences, it's a fantastic place to spend a fulfilling day!
On March 3rd, the observatory will host a public observation event for the total lunar eclipse!
Please note that the event may be canceled in case of rain or heavy clouds, and you can check for cancellations on the day.
