Warm Winter Support Program in Sinan County

The Sinan County Welfare Foundation
is launching a support program
for vulnerable groups in the area
to prepare for the harsh winter.
This initiative,
supported by the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea,
will focus on 180 households
especially vulnerable to cold weather,
such as the elderly and single-parent families.
We will provide winter blankets, heating mats,
and other warming supplies.
Households lacking heating supplies
or needing replacements due to wear and tear
will be prioritized.
The program aims to ensure stability
and improve the warmth of living environments.
The "Warm Winter Support Program" is a key welfare project
that has been ongoing since 2023,
continuously promoted by the Sinan County Welfare Foundation.
It plays a vital role in securing
the winter housing safety of energy-vulnerable groups
and minimizing inconveniences caused by cold weather.
Chairperson Kang Jeong-hee stated,
"Although these are small items,
I hope they help create a warm winter."
She added, "We will continue to work hard
to ensure that local residents can spend winter
in a safer and warmer environment."
The Sinan County Welfare Foundation is not only supporting
the heating-vulnerable groups but also
continuously promoting various welfare projects,
including living expense support,
housing environment improvement,
kimchi-making ingredient support,
and essential goods support.
The foundation is committed to strengthening
the local welfare safety net.
In the future, the Sinan County Welfare Foundation plans
to continue providing warm support
to neighbors in need.
