I recently visited Magok Coffee No. 2, a social enterprise and senior club located in Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do.

This establishment provides job opportunities for seniors, featuring skilled senior baristas who work there.

Magok Coffee boasts a cozy and charming traditional Korean house interior, comparable to any regular Hanok cafe. The fresh potted plants scattered throughout the cafe seemed to refresh the air.

These vibrant plants uplifted my mood as well. You can also purchase souvenirs; on the day I visited, the Jinmyeosu ceramic dolls caught my attention.

In addition to coffee, the cafe offers handmade cookies and baked goods made by seniors.

Photos from past events at Magok Coffee are displayed on the walls, showcasing seniors passionately learning about coffee making and baking. Their dedication to learning was truly impressive.

Thanks to their hard work, the coffee and baked goods at Magok Coffee No. 2 boast exceptional flavors.

As a social enterprise, the prices are very affordable, offering excellent value for the quality. The coffee prices are nearly half of what you'd find at regular cafes.

It's rare to find such affordable options these days, making it a truly appreciated cafe. The quality does not fall short despite the low prices; in fact, they serve even tastier coffee and baked goods. I tried the cafe latte, which was delicious, and I would describe the ambiance as a cozy and healing Hanok cafe. I highly recommend it.

Magok Coffee No. 2 operates as a cashless establishment, accepting payments via Gongju Pay, credit cards, mobile payments, and bank transfers.

The second floor features a large meeting room, making it ideal for group gatherings.

Like the first floor, the second floor is spacious and offers a view of Gongsanseong Fortress through its windows. The sunlight streaming in creates an even cozier atmosphere.

Since the first floor was crowded, my friend and I settled on the second floor and ordered two cafe lattes.

The taste of the cafe latte was truly delightful and visually appealing. I felt great about finding such a good deal at a low price, and the flavor was fantastic. My friend and I enjoyed a happy tea time together.

For reference, there are many well-known restaurants and cafes nearby that serve local specialties from Gongju. Magok Coffee No. 2 is located on Baekmi Street, famous for its delicious eateries.

If you're looking for a value-for-money cafe while strolling through the Baekmi Street food area, I wholeheartedly recommend Magok Coffee No. 2.

Visiting the nearby Gongsanseong Fortress followed by a stop at a restaurant or cafe makes for a great travel itinerary.
