Dreamlike Moment

Feeling chilly? Planning a trip to Jeju and wondering how to make the most of it? Here are four fantastic winter destinations in Jeju City, all conveniently located near the airport. Bundle them together for a fulfilling itinerary and a memorable day! ❤️

1. Nohyeong Supermarket: An Indoor Jeju Attraction for Cold Days

Escape the winter winds at Nohyeong Supermarket, a popular indoor attraction in Jeju. Located about 15 minutes from the airport, it offers convenient parking, an on-site cafe, a souvenir shop, lockers, and a nursing room. I purchased my ticket online via Naver for a 1,000 KRW discount! ✌️

The exhibition concept is unique: venturing from a monochrome world stripped of color, through the Forgotten Door, and into a multiverse. The immersive production exceeded my expectations!

I've visited several media art-themed attractions in Jeju, but Nohyeong Supermarket stands out with its scale, stunning visuals, and diverse themes. The continuously looping art features different content, ensuring a captivating experience.

Immerse yourself in a mystical and beautiful multi-dimensional world that fills 360 degrees, including the floor! Time flies by as you explore.

Besides the main exhibition hall, enjoy retro-themed photo zones and Dol Hareubang (stone grandfather) Road. This Jeju City attraction is well worth the admission price! ㅎ

2. Dodori Pork Noodles: Warm Up with a Hearty Bowl of Noodles

Nothing beats a bowl of hot pork noodles on a cold winter day. The rich, deep broth warms you from the inside out, making you forget all about the chill. For delicious pork noodles near the airport, I confidently recommend Dodori Pork Noodles. It excels in views, hygiene, taste, and value.

From your seat, you can watch planes taking off and landing – a unique and entertaining experience! It's not every day you find a noodle shop with an airplane view. My child loved it! :)

Dodori offers only two noodle dishes: pork noodles and spicy mixed noodles, focusing on the essentials. The pork broth is rich and flavorful without any gamey taste, complemented by chewy noodles, tender pork slices, and a perfectly balanced spicy-sweet sauce. It was perfect! 👍

Add a side of fried pork for an even more satisfying meal. These crispy, thinly sliced pork cutlets are a fantastic match for the noodles.

The side dishes are neatly presented and delicious, making this restaurant impeccable.

3. Plant 827: A Sensational Garden Cafe with Seasonal Flowers

My third recommendation for Jeju City is Plant 827, a botanical cafe with a large garden cultivated with seasonal flowers. Even in the cold, admiring beautiful flowers is healing. You can enjoy the winter ambiance of Jeju with silver grass and camellias.

The cafe's interior is spacious with large windows, creating an open and relaxing atmosphere. It's a comforting space to unwind.

The selection of delicious breads and beverages is extensive, allowing you to customize your snack time. The bakery rivals professional bakeries in terms of variety.

We ordered Plant 827's signature Danish bread and Plant Latte. The bread was moist and savory when pulled apart, and the latte had a rich, deep flavor.

4. Jeju Sumokwon (Arboretum) Night Market: Eat, Play, and End the Day at the Night Market

Jeju Sumokwon Night Market, where I had dinner, was personally the most memorable place. The romantic atmosphere, unique food, and fun activities were all delightful.

The night market opens at 6 PM and closes at 10 PM. You can have dinner at one of the food trucks and then grab some snacks and a beer to end the day perfectly!

The food truck lineup is impressive, featuring chicken, pasta, tornado potatoes, tteok-kkochi (rice cake skewers), chili shrimp, and handmade burgers. The taste was generally above average. :)

If the kids get bored while the adults are eating and drinking, let them play some games at the night market. My son spent over 30 minutes watching others and playing games after I gave him 10,000 KRW.

I've also included a vivid video of these four locations, including famous Jeju tourist attractions. After watching it, you'll understand why they are must-visit places in Jeju City. 👍 These are definitely fun and delicious places, so be sure to visit them all!
