The Winter Flower Festival: A Celebration of 40 Million Camellia Blossoms
A special festival is being held in Sinan-gun, where you can encounter vibrant flowers even in the middle of winter.
The 'Island Winter Flower Festival' will take place from December 19 to January 18, 2026, at the 1004 Island Bonsai Garden in Aphae-eup!
The star of this festival is undoubtedly the camellia blossoms.
In the 3km-long camellia forest path within the bonsai garden, 20,000 camellia trees are already in full bloom, painting the entire garden in shades of red.
During the festival, approximately 40 million camellia blossoms are expected to reach their peak.
Visitors to the Island Winter Flower Festival can stroll along the colorful flower paths and enjoy a unique winter landscape, even in the chilly air.
This year's festival not only offers beautiful flower views but also a variety of engaging activities.
