Located in Nam-myeon, Taean-gun, at Mageumpohang, this port is relatively quiet and unassuming compared to other harbors in Taean.

The reason to visit here is not for extravagant attractions, but to slowly take in the everyday seascape of Taean. Especially around sunset, the harbor and sea darken together, creating a unique tranquility.

This time, I captured the scenery at dusk, allowing me to once again appreciate the humble charm of Mageumpohang.

Although the harbor is not large, the fishing boats are neatly lined up, and old seafood shops and small stores around give a natural feel of local life.

The greatest appeal of Mageumpohang is its uncomplicated scenery and calm waters. Walking from the entrance to the end of the harbor doesn’t take much time, but the scenes in between are surprisingly diverse.

Each docked fishing boat bears the marks of a day's work, and I could see residents organizing equipment or tending to their fishing gear. These scenes depict a natural day in Taean that is hard to find in tourist spots. Mageumpohang is a place worth staying simply for its everyday appearance.

Unlike flashy tourist destinations, Mageumpohang offers a quiet space to linger. Around sunset, the landscape created by the sea, sky, and harbor brings peace to the heart. Just taking a walk and looking around is enough to spend quality time here.

It’s also a great spot for those who want to experience the authentic charm of a seaside village in Taean. The scenery changes with the seasons, and the colors vary significantly depending on the weather, leaving a fresh impression even after multiple visits.

Though the everyday scenes may seem ordinary, their simplicity makes them more memorable. If you visit Taean in the future, I recommend taking a moment to enjoy the quiet evening sea. Mageumpohang's charm lies in its unpretentious yet comforting atmosphere.
