A place where the brilliant past and artistic sensibility of Seocheon coexist, the 'Path to Janghang Station' is located in Janghang-eup, Seocheon-gun, Chungcheongnam-do.
Once the center of the economy in Chungcheongnam-do, the railway connecting Janghang Port and the old Janghang Station has transformed into a romantic walking path through the hands of artists.

Janghang was a crucial logistics hub centered around the Janghang Smelter and Janghang Port.
After the relocation of Janghang Station due to the railway improvement project in 2008, the area around the station lost its vibrancy and became a deserted railway site.
In 2014, Seocheon-gun and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism planned the village art project, infusing local storytelling into the bleak railway and alleyways, creating a charming path.

The walking trail stretches approximately 1.5 km from Janghang Port to the old Janghang Station.
Along the path, sculptures inspired by historical symbols of Janghang, such as the smelter chimney, lighthouse, and fishing boats, create an atmosphere reminiscent of an art gallery.

It may not be glamorous, but it feels sincere. The path of art where time flows slowly offers healing just by walking.
