The 25th International Floral Decoration Competition is being held this year on the beautiful island of Sinan-gun, Aphae-eup, at the 1004 Island Bonsai Garden.
From October 17th to 19th, a three-day festival of floral art will unfold.
This competition, which began in 2001, is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
The best floral art experts and students from Korea and abroad gather to compete with their works, showcasing their individual sensibilities and skills.
It is a leading event in the field of floral art.
This year's theme is 'Sea, Island, Garden'.
A variety of works resembling Sinan's beautiful nature will be exhibited.
A total of 68 works, including 57 floral decorations and 11 body decorations, will deliver artistic inspiration to visitors.
A special space is also prepared for this competition.
It is the 'Bang-sik Meister Story Zone'.
This space offers a glimpse into the world of Bang-sik, the master who heads the Bang-sik Flower Art Institute, which hosts the competition, and the history of the competition.
Even those unfamiliar with floral art will naturally fall into its charm.
Furthermore, with the participation of 15 overseas teams, including the wives of ambassadors from 13 countries, including the Netherlands and Australia, an international atmosphere will be added.
As a pre-show event, a collaboration stage of traditional Korean dance and floral art is also prepared.
It will be a time to enrich both sight and sensibility.
A time to share hearts with flowers and communicate with the world through art.
We hope that Sinan-gun will further establish itself as a center of K-flower art through this competition.
