The 13th Geochang Christmas Tree Cultural Festival opened on December 14th

at the cultural relaxation space in front of Geochang County Office.

With the theme 'Holy One! Geochang' and the subtitle 'Geochang, united in light,

a winter night filled with love',

the festival embodies light, culture, and community spirit.

The large Christmas tree brightens the chilly winter streets with its warm lights,

filling our year-end with warmth.

When I was younger, the streets were filled with carols that created a festive atmosphere,

but now, I find myself experiencing a quieter winter.

The event runs daily until the 25th, with performances from 6:30 PM to 8 PM.

I enjoyed a free performance where songs were sung accompanied by guitar.

On weekends, from 4 PM to 8 PM, there are additional activities like craft experiences and flea markets.

The county office rotary has various photo zones,

making it a great spot for taking pictures.

You can relax on plush chairs under the trees

and create memories with the beautiful lights.

You can even spot the trendy rainbow chairs!

A photo with friends would be fantastic!

Notably, 2026 is designated as the Year of Visiting Geochang,

and I hope many people come to see the livable Geochang next year!
