The newly established secret garden, the Hongseong Healing Space, has left even the locals astonished, asking, "Did we have a place like this in our neighborhood?"
Don't be surprised; all these facilities are free of charge. Unlike popular large botanical cafes that often charge entrance fees or high drink prices, this space was created by the Hongseong County for the relaxation and emotional stability of its citizens, and it is open to everyone.
Shall we step into the warm greenhouse together?
The first thing that catches your eye is the magnificent 'Large Poinsettia Tree' standing tall in the center. Known as the 'Flower of Christmas,' the poinsettia showcases its red leaves stacked in layers, forming a massive tree that boasts overwhelming beauty. This place is undoubtedly the best spot in Hongseong for capturing 'life shots.' With such a beautiful backdrop, even a casual photo can turn into a stunning shot.
If your eyes were delighted by the tree's splendor, now it's time to listen. Throughout the botanical garden, there are 'Water Trees' and small ponds where water flows gently. The continuous sound of clear water creates a sense of tranquility, making you feel as if you are immersed in nature. This soothing sound calms the mind, washing away the complexities of your thoughts.
As you stroll among the plants, you'll encounter a cozy nook, a 'Book Cafe,' where you can take a break. It serves as a living nature classroom for children, a comfortable resting place for seniors, and a romantic date spot for couples. Most importantly, I am proud to share that all of this is open for free to the citizens of Hongseong and Chungcheongnam-do.
