Spring Day Trip to Daejeon Science Festival
This upcoming weekend,
we introduce a special day trip train package to enjoy the spring in Daejeon!
On April 18th (Saturday),
Korail Tourism Development will operate a special train trip
in conjunction with the Daejeon Science Festival.
The '2026 Korea Science Festival and Daejeon Science Festival', co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and Daejeon Metropolitan City, is the largest science event in South Korea. This festival, aimed at experiencing the changes that scientific and technological advancements bring to our lives and communicating about the future, will take place from April 17th (Friday) to 19th (Sunday) at the Daejeon Convention Center, Expo Science Park, Expo Citizens' Plaza, and the National Science Museum. Additionally, the 11th World Science Culture Forum, featuring global and TED-style lectures, will be held on April 17th and 18th at the Daejeon Convention Center.
This train trip departs from Seoul Station, passing through Yeongdeungpo, Suwon, and Cheonan, taking you to Daejeon on the Paldo Marketplace Tourist Train.
All routes will stop at the Daejeon Science Festival, with different spots for each course.
