Spring Bonsai Exhibition at Shinan 1004 Islands

As spring arrives, Shinan County will hold a
‘Bonsai Exhibition of Flowering Quince’
at the 1004 Islands Bonsai Garden.
The exhibition will take place from late March to early April,
showcasing over 150 flowering quince bonsais
in the glasshouse and surrounding exhibition areas.
Flowering quince, a deciduous shrub from the rose family,
is a representative ornamental tree of spring.
With its pink, red, and white blossoms,
it brightens the garden and conveys the essence of spring
to visitors.
The lush flowers on each branch, combined with the unique aesthetic of bonsai,
create a picturesque scene.
During the exhibition, in addition to flowering quince,
visitors can also enjoy various bonsai works,
including Japanese zelkova and pine.
Each bonsai, with its distinct shape and beauty,
offers another visual delight.
The 1004 Islands Bonsai Garden is a cultural space
that harmonizes beautiful garden scenery with ocean views.
Especially in spring, it is a popular spot for family outings
and photography.
Shinan County plans to continue organizing seasonal bonsai exhibitions
tailored to different themes.
This initiative aims to provide diverse viewing opportunities
for local residents and tourists,
while promoting bonsai culture and tourism.
Experience a special spring at the Shinan 1004 Islands Bonsai Garden,
where you can enjoy vibrant flowers, beautiful bonsai,
and stunning ocean views!
