Shinan County's Agricultural University Admission Ceremony
Shinan County held the "2026 Admission Ceremony for the 1004 Island Agricultural University" on April 6th at the Agricultural Technology Center's auditorium, with over 90 attendees including new students and officials.
This year, the university is offering two programs:
✔️ Eco-Friendly Agriculture Program
✔️ AI Agricultural Marketing Program
A total of 79 new students have completed their registration and embarked on a journey to enhance their professional skills, which will continue until December.
The Eco-Friendly Agriculture Program provides systematic training from cultivation theory to material manufacturing, along with advanced education linked to obtaining the Organic Farming Technician certification.
Additionally, the newly introduced AI Agricultural Marketing Program focuses on practical training in establishing distribution strategies using AI technology, operating smart stores, and utilizing live commerce to enhance farmers' online competitiveness.
The admission ceremony included a declaration of acceptance and a representative's oath, followed by encouragement speeches, orientation, and expert lectures, which further fueled the enthusiasm and expectations of the students.
In the rapidly changing agricultural environment, eco-friendly practices and AI marketing will be crucial for the future competitiveness of Shinan agriculture.

Since 2009, Shinan County has operated an agricultural university and has trained approximately 1,000 agricultural management professionals.
