Shinan County Launches the 4th '1004 Marine Exploration Team'

On the 3rd, Shinan County successfully held the launch ceremony for the 4th '1004 Marine Exploration Team' at the Shinan County Gymnasium, targeting local children.
The '1004 Marine Exploration Team' is an experiential program designed for children in island areas to understand the importance of the marine environment and to practice environmental protection in their daily lives. This year marks the 4th iteration of the program.
During the launch ceremony, participants reflected on the achievements of the 3rd team and the new members made a strong pledge, signaling a fresh start.
Through the '1004 Marine Guardian Adventure' program, children engaged in various activities such as fish snack tasting and cooperative toddler train rides, learning the significance of ocean protection in a fun and natural way.
After lunch, a variety of programs for children were conducted, including:
- Recycling experience
- Waterball name tag creation
- Helium balloon decoration
- Photo zone and air playground experience
- Children's puppet show 'Peter Pan's Sea Adventure'
The children had a delightful time learning the value of environmental protection through play and activities.
Shinan County believes that the ocean is a precious asset that must be passed on to future generations. Through this initiative, we hope that children will learn the value of environmental protection and grow to become guardians of the sea in their daily lives.
The 4th '1004 Marine Exploration Team' will continue with various environmental practice activities involving both daycare centers and families, starting from this launch ceremony.
Additionally, outstanding participants will be encouraged with certificates and awards to recognize their efforts.
