Sejong City to Host National Kite Flying Competition for Jeongwol Daeboreum

Today, February 3rd, some of you might have been expecting warmer weather as Ipchun (the beginning of spring) approaches.
Unfortunately, the cold snap is expected to continue until the end of this week.
Nevertheless, spring will eventually come, so let's all hang in there!
Sejong City will host the National Kite Flying Competition on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, to celebrate Jeongwol Daeboreum (the first full moon of the lunar new year)!
This event will be held from 13:00 to 16:00.

There will be a kite flying competition and a creative kite flying competition! The kite flying competition will be held in two rounds: the preliminary round at 13:00 and the final round at 15:00.
The creative kite flying competition will be held once at 15:00!
This competition is only open to those who have registered in advance! However, visitors can participate in various activities such as kite flying, food, and traditional games.
