Recommended 2-Day Trip Itinerary in Jinju

A cost-effective and satisfying Non-Noise Tour

We enjoyed a tranquil 2-day trip in Jinju! My daughter and I took a walking tour while listening to music.

We gathered at the Golden Tulip Hotel by 2:30 PM. Due to the busy holiday traffic, we chose to take the national road to avoid delays and arrived just in time.

The hotel provided a private parking space, making it convenient for travelers with their own vehicles.

In addition to the Non-Noise Tour in Jinju, we also explored Gyobang Road. During May, we enjoyed a special discount of 80,000 won for experiences like traditional dance performances, a musical about the heroine Nongae, a tea ceremony, and poetry creation.

Check-in at the hotel was done individually with name, phone number, car number, and signature, before heading to our assigned rooms.

As I settled into the cozy and plush bedding, I noticed some guests had yet to arrive, allowing me to relax and wait comfortably.

When it was time, we headed to the lobby where we received name tags and headsets.

As soon as I put on the headset, my daughter's favorite song by IVE, "Bang Bang," started playing! Seeing her happy face filled me with pride.

Since this was a walking tour, safety instructions were provided. With the headset, everyone, young and old, was attentive and engaged. The planning of the Non-Noise Tour was truly impressive.

My daughter was also observant and careful while walking. The tour guide ensured everyone was together at crosswalks, which was a thoughtful safety measure.

Our first stop was the "Namseongdang Herbal Medicine Clinic," now known as the Namseongdang Education Center. This place serves as a valuable cultural asset to remind us of the spirit of Jinju.

Run by Teacher Kim Jang-ha, the clinic preserves traditional herbal medicine practices, which was quite remarkable.

We learned about the 3.1 Jinju Independence Movement during our visit.

After our tour, my daughter and I chose our favorite herbal ingredients from the heart prescription corner. She picked cinnamon, while I chose peppermint, which is said to help clear the airways.

As we exited, we had the privilege of meeting Teacher Kim Jang-ha. We expressed our gratitude for sharing this precious knowledge with our children and wished him good health.

Next, we dressed in beautiful hanbok and headed to Jinju Fortress. Having visited many times before, wearing hanbok made it feel even more special.

While listening to music through our headsets, we learned about the history of Jinju Fortress. The guides provided engaging explanations, making the experience enjoyable. We even had a quiz time!

At Jinju Fortress, we took some time for ourselves. My daughter and I, both eager to capture memories, took many photos in our hanbok.

Finally, it was dinner time! We took a break from our headsets and headed out to eat. After considering various options from the provided vouchers and restaurant map, we decided on a nearby place for grilled meat and cold noodles.

The cold noodles were refreshing, and the grilled meat was delicious with a smoky flavor.

As the sun set, we attended the outdoor musical performance of "Nongae." The actors delivered powerful performances, drawing us into the story.

Nongae's bravery in sacrificing herself for her country was truly moving. My daughter expressed her desire to see the musical again.

We cheered and applauded the talented performers, who left a lasting impression on us.

At 9 PM, we enjoyed a night market tour at Jinju Nongae Market, where we sampled local craft beer.

The next morning, we rose early for breakfast and then went out for yoga.

Wearing our headsets, my daughter and I meditated and engaged muscles we rarely use in daily life. Learning yoga made me feel lighter and more energized.

I highly recommend the Non-Noise Tour in Jinju for an enjoyable 2-day trip!

From the Namseongdang Education Center to the hanbok experience, visits to Jinju Fortress, gourmet tours, watching musicals on the water, and enjoying the night market and yoga, it was a fulfilling and joyful time. I hope you all get your tickets soon!
