This is Myungam Reservoir, located in the center of Myungam Tourist Site. After several days of autumn rain, the weather cleared up for the first time in a while, so I visited Myungam Tourist Site, which is great for taking a walk.
Myungam Tourist Site was selected as an accessible tourist site in 2023. An accessible tourist site is a tourist destination without barriers that allows all tourists, including people with disabilities, the elderly, and families with young children, to move around without restrictions.
There are tactile and audio tourist information boards, so people with disabilities can easily obtain information.
There are chairs around the reservoir, so it's nice to sit and look out at the reservoir.
It's best to take a walk clockwise with the reservoir on your right.
The distance is marked in each section, and a life-saving equipment box is provided in case of an accident.
This is the Moon Photo Zone. At night, pretty lights turn on, and you can sit here and take pictures with Myungam Reservoir in the background.
There is also an observatory where you can view Myungam Reservoir. If you walk along the deck road, you will see the refreshing reservoir scenery and the towering Myungam Tower.
As you stroll along the deck road, you can feel the cool breeze blowing from the reservoir and see the trees changing into their autumn colors.
There are also chairs where you can rest, and sitting and looking at the reservoir makes you feel at peace.
The scenery of the fountain, Myungam Tower, and the blue sky seen through the trees is like a painting.
Seeing the fallen leaves on the ground, I can feel that autumn has arrived. Among the trees, cherry trees tend to turn color earlier than other trees, and their leaves also fall off quickly.
Various creatures live in the reservoir. There are turtles that come up onto the branches to dry their backs, and there are also fish.
Migratory birds also fly in during the winter.

There is a path leading to Wuamsan Mountain nearby, so it's good to walk together.

Perhaps because I visited on a weekday, the paddle boat boarding area was closed, and the paddle boats were neatly arranged.
The paddle boat fee is 15,000 to 20,000 won for 30 minutes, and the fee varies depending on the number of people.

If you walk slowly, you will arrive at the starting point before you know it.
The circumference of the reservoir is about 1.4 km, so you can go around it in about 30 minutes.
