Hello,

It's Ddaenggeul!

This blog challenge is about my first trip to Busan.

I had only been to Busan to visit my grandmother's house, never for a real trip.

It was so long ago that I don't have many photos, but I'm digging them out for this blog challenge.

It was 2017, so... 8 years ago?!

When I was little, before the KTX was available, taking the Mugunghwa train to Busan was tiring, so we would take it in the early morning and sleep on the way.

Back then, we could take the train so early that I have memories of 'camping out' at the station.

Those were the days! When did that disappear?

One night, I stayed at the Busan Business Hotel, and the next at the MS Hotel.

At Busan Station, I went to Chorokdam Seaweed Soup.

I remember the seaweed soup and mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) being delicious.

We went there because it was supposed to be a famous restaurant at the time, but now I feel like there might have been even better places.

We traveled by subway.

I was surprised that the Busan subway has a separate car just for women.

I couldn't take a picture of Busan Station when we arrived, so I took one from the bus.

I don't think we went to Nampo because we didn't have time. We went straight to the cable car.

The image quality is really bad!

Then we went to Kkangtong Market to eat street food.

Fantastic Scene

I was really looking forward to the milk튀김 (fried milk) at this time but was disappointed because it wasn't that good;;;

The morning of the second day.

I don't have any pictures of the hotel.

The only picture I have of lunch.

In Seomyeon, you have to go to Gaemijip.

We went to Gaemijip and had nakgopsae (octopus, 곱창(tripe), and shrimp stir-fry).

The portion was huge, so we left some.

We looked at the ocean.

Fun Moment

Then we went to the aquarium.

All the photos were weird, so this is the only usable one.

The Bay 101 didn't seem to have much to do.

We just took a quick look.

Then we went to the Shinsegae Spa Land jjimjilbang (Korean spa).

My first jjimjilbang ever.

It was great.

I also bought Daesun soju at the convenience store.

Daesun soju is only sold in Busan.

At night, I ordered BHC 뿌링클 순살 (boneless BHC Bburinkle chicken), but it was like chicken nuggets, and I still remember it.

End of day one.

The morning of the third day has dawned.

The view from the hotel.

I loved that I could see the ocean from the hotel.

Beautiful Scenery

I had no plans for this day, so I was wondering what to do, and then I thought, "Don't you want to take a boat?"

So we took a cruise.

I don't remember the price.

We just went for it.

There were so many seagulls.

Touching Scene

Fun Moment

The only good picture I took in Busan: a seagull.

But I felt bad because a seagull pooped on me;;;

Happy Time

I saw this place while on the boat, but I don't know what it is...

Hopeful Tomorrow

Heading to Busan Station.

Touching Scene

Busan Station had Samjin Eomuk (fish cake).

I broke a soju bottle while looking at the fish cakes. ㅠ

I'm still sorry...

Then, I hung out at Pascucci inside Busan Station for 3 hours before taking the Mugunghwa train.

The train was at 9:30 PM, so I arrived at Seoul Station at 3:14 AM.

I 'camped out' at Lotteria and took the first train home.

This was the last early morning train.

They don't operate at this hour anymore, or at least it felt like that was the last time.

I probably collapsed the next day?

Back then, I used to travel to do activities, but now I only travel to eat;;;

LOL
