With the ongoing heatwave,
there has been little news of rain, causing much concern.
Especially in the Gyeongbuk region,
drought has persisted, increasing worries for local residents.
To lend a helping hand,
Korea Railroad Tourism Development delivered 33,600 bottles of water to Cheongdo County.

On August 25,
we visited Cheongdo County to provide water for residents suffering from the drought.
This support is part of our response to the drought situation in Cheongdo County,
where our Cheongdo Rail Bike operates,
aiming to provide tangible assistance to local residents.
By delivering essential drinking water during these hot days,
we hope to alleviate some of the difficulties faced by the community.
Korea Railroad Tourism Development is committed to social contribution activities
to work alongside the community.
Last August, we donated 15 million won to support residents affected by heavy rains,
and we provided 33,600 bottles of water during the drought in Gangneung.
We have continued our efforts to assist regions facing disasters and difficulties.
Not only do we connect people through travel,
but we also believe it is our role as a public institution to support communities in times of need.
“We hope this helps the residents of Cheongdo County who are facing water shortages due to the drought.
We will continue to monitor areas in need of support in the community.”
