Nestled amidst lush forests and overlooking Songnim Reservoir, the Jincheon K-Story Creation Cluster is where art blossoms in nature. As a core outcome of the 'Regional Creative Ecosystem Development Project' promoted by Jincheon-gun since the early 2020s, approximately 22.8 billion won (11.4 billion won from national funds + 11.4 billion won from local funds) has been invested. It officially opened at the end of June 2024 and has since grown into a creative hub attracting attention from the domestic content industry.
Jincheon-gun has strived to build a foundation for the content industry to realize its regional vision of a 'city where nature and culture coexist,' and the Jincheon K-Story Creation Cluster is the result. The exterior of the building harmoniously blends wood grain and glass, perfectly complementing the surrounding Songnim Reservoir. The structure is designed to softly blend into the forest, providing an environment where creators can fully immerse themselves in nature.
The greatest advantage of the Jincheon K-Story Creation Cluster lies in its facilities. It is a complex building that supports everything from creation to accommodation, allowing all stages to be completed in one place.
The first floor houses a lounge, while the second floor features conference and seminar rooms, and a cafeteria for creators and production teams. These spaces allow creators to freely stay, conceptualize their work, hold meetings, and expand their artistic horizons. Additionally, there are exhibition spaces and lounges where artists can showcase their content and where exchange workshops and lectures can be held regularly.
The cluster serves as a 'support platform,' walking alongside creators from their initial stay to the point of bringing their work to market. It specializes in supporting story-driven content creation, such as webtoons, web novels, drama scenarios, and documentaries, and has a 'full-cycle creation support system' that leads from idea planning → creation → business matching → commercialization. In this process, local young creators, content companies, and external professional creators collaborate to create a new story ecosystem centered around Jincheon, and various cultural projects are actively carried out.
