When traveling, attractions are important, but food is essential...

So, I tend to look for local specialties or must-eat dishes first.

They say Seocheon is famous for hairtail...

That's how I stumbled upon <Janghang 6080 Food Alley Matnaro>.

Seocheon has nine famous dishes.

1. Seafood Noodle Soup

2. Tomcod Soup

3. Braised Monkfish

4. Cold Noodles (Naengmyeon)

5. Seocheon Baekban (Assorted Side Dishes with Rice)

6. Acorn Jelly Dishes

7. Cuttlefish Dishes

8. Grilled Shellfish

9. Rockfish Soup

I've traveled to Seocheon often, but...

Come to think of it, I've only tried two of the nine: Seafood Noodle Soup and Seocheon Baekban.

I parked at the entrance of the alley and started walking.

I was hungry but didn't want something too heavy, so I wanted a light meal.

I started seeing Bibim Guksu (Spicy Mixed Noodles), Janchi Guksu (Banquet Noodles), and Naengmyeon at the entrance.

But...

What I ended up choosing was...

Yukgaejang (Spicy Beef Soup)!

The Matnaro Alley was well-decorated with murals.

As a hobby photographer, I loved that there were many things to photograph.

What remains from a trip?

Photos!

Capturing the moment with your eyes is important, but...

Looking at the photos later brings back memories.

Take lots of pictures on your trip!

What exactly is 6080?

Was Seocheon prosperous in the 60s and 80s?

Or does it feel like a city frozen in that era?

90s kid's diary...

At first, I thought it was a cafe?

Or maybe a studio?

But...

It was both a studio and an exhibition space.

Archive

Records, archives, the act of preserving records.

Records become history...

Capture the history of your life in photos...

Monkfish...

It feels like you shouldn't just pass by this place?

If that was the entrance to a monkfish's mouth, I almost walked right in, haha.

When traveling to smaller cities in the provinces...

I like the warmth, unlike the coldness of big cities.

Maybe it's because I've lived in the city for so long, but I like the warmth I feel in small towns...

And I like the friendly aunties who greet you warmly when you enter a restaurant.

I hope you fall asleep from being exhausted from counting money...

Seriously...

It felt like a desperate phrase...

Isn't that the wish of all business owners?

Is that a city gas or LPG tank?

The drawings are cleverly done...

If you come to Seocheon...

Enjoy the nine famous dishes of Seocheon...

Even if you don't eat, <Janghang 6080 Food Alley Matnaro> is a great place to walk and take a stroll.
