Introduction to SudaBucks Youth Cafes in Dangjin
The first youth-exclusive public cafe, SudaBucks, opened in March 2021 in Dangjin City.
Since then, the second location opened in August 2023, and the third location is set to open in November 2025, emphasizing community engagement in its operations.
All these facilities are operated by the Dangjin Youth Foundation, providing a space where young people can freely relax, learn, and interact.

Today, I will introduce the 1st and 3rd locations in Eumnae-dong and Sinpyeong-myeon.
The first SudaBucks Youth Cafe was established as the first dedicated youth cafe in Dangjin City.
It offers one free drink per day and serves as a comfortable space for young people to socialize with friends, do homework, or study.
Located on the second floor at the back of the building, a red mailbox at the cafe counter allows youth to drop off letters for counseling, which they can receive following a set procedure.
Upon entering, the spacious and open area provides a pleasant atmosphere with a great view.
SudaBucks 1st Location is situated at 21 Seomun 2-gil, Eumnae-dong, and has become a cultural space where Dangjin's youth can safely relax.

The cafe also features cozy counseling rooms and study areas, providing a free shelter and public cafe for Dangjin's youth.
In addition, the cafe has a study room and computer room available for learning.
SudaBucks 1st Location specializes in counseling services, and youth can apply for counseling sessions.
Furthermore, the cafe offers a photo printing service at the photo zone, where youth can take pictures wearing various headbands and display them on the bulletin board.
The youth clubs operating here also engage in volunteer activities to care for stray dogs, displaying photos of their activities on the walls.
With the positive response from the first location, the second and third locations have opened.
Now, let me introduce the 3rd SudaBucks Youth Cafe located in Sinpyeong-myeon.
The 3rd location is situated within the Happiness Issue Center, which also operates a child care center.

10 AM to 6 PM (winter) / until 8 PM (summer), closed on Mondays and holidays
The relaxation area also has outdoor terrace seating for reading.
Food is not allowed in the relaxation zone, and visitors must check in and out at the front desk.
In the photo zone, visitors can take pictures with tree-related props and display them on the tree.
While I wanted to take photos, I passed as I am no longer a youth.
With the new facilities at the 3rd location, it offers a clean and well-organized environment.
It is wonderful that Dangjin City has a free public cafe for youth, especially during the cold winter months.
With a neat cafeteria and a view connecting to the outdoor terrace, the city provides a comfortable space for youth to enjoy during their vacation.
Moreover, the popular PC zone has usage time limits to prevent overuse.
With a variety of board games and books available, I hope to see the establishment of more locations in the future.
