Here, you can enjoy Jeju racing while weaving through reed-lined roads, and with plenty of indoor activities, the weather won't matter. If you're looking for places to visit in Jeju during the fall and winter, be sure to stop by! ❤️
1. 9.81 Park: A Must-Visit in Jeju This Fall/Winter
9.81 Park is located in Aewol-eup, Jeju City, about 25 minutes by car from the airport. A free shuttle bus operates between the airport and the park, making it easily accessible for travelers without a car. Check the app or website for boarding locations and departure times.
The park is open from 9:00 AM to 6:20 PM, with the last ride for Jeju racing at 5:40 PM. If you're visiting in the afternoon, be sure to experience the racing first. Especially on weekends and holidays, there may be long waits, so head straight to the boarding area upon arrival!
Ticket options include packages with indoor games only, full packages combining indoor and outdoor activities, and limited-time Pokemon packages. I purchased two 981 Full Packages (₩52,500 per person) in advance through the app. Using the app saves time on ticketing.
Linking your ticket to the app also provides convenient access to game records, status updates, and driving videos! Be sure to install the app to save time and fully enjoy 9.81 Park.

2. Jeju Reed Gravity Racing
I started with the main activity: outdoor gravity racing. Speeding through the track surrounded by fully bloomed Jeju reeds was exhilarating! The scenery was so beautiful that it made the ride even more enjoyable. ????
There are a total of 4 courses available. The GR-X course is exclusively for racers who have obtained a master license, so it's generally not accessible to regular tourists. Basic package tickets exclude the X course and include only courses 1, 2, and 3.
Jeju racing requirements (for single-seater vehicles): Height 150cm~190cm / Age 14 or older. Closed-toe shoes are required. Bags are not allowed (free lockers are available), and only mobile phones are permitted on board.
The 9.81 GR vehicles, developed with proprietary technology, move solely by gravity. Unlike typical kart experiences, there's no exhaust fumes or loud noise. The track layout is diverse and thrilling, providing an amazing rush. Plus, enjoying the Jeju western reeds while racing is a bonus! The sea, windmills, and oreums (volcanic cones) create a stunning landscape.
3. Indoor Games at Jeju's Must-Visit Spot
The Sports Lab zone is perfect for escaping the cold autumn/winter winds, rain, and snow. The scale is large, and the indoor temperature is kept warm, so there's no need to bring a jacket! You might even break a sweat after playing for a while.
Available games include curling, soccer, bowling, baseball, horseback riding, shooting, basketball, skiing, archery, etc. Each sport is realistically implemented, making it incredibly fun. The difficulty level is set so that all ages can enjoy them.
The Ringo game is a bumper car-style system where you earn and lose points with each collision, allowing you to check your ranking in real time. Everyone fought fiercely! ㅎ
Laser survival was also a unique experience. Wearing sensor vests and running and hiding! It was a great and unique activity.
4. Other Fun Activities
Other attractions include the chance to ride a 360-degree rotating sky swing in the Jeju reed fields (heart-fluttering).
There was also a Pokemon Ditto promotion going on, so I was able to see cute Pokemon friends. There are many photo zones, making it great for taking travel 기념사진!
Plus, they sell special goods, adding a small shopping pleasure! The event period is until November 30th, making it perfect as a winter Jeju attraction. If you're traveling to Jeju in November, be sure to stop by. Purchasing a Pokemon package allows you to enjoy various missions and special games, making it even more fun.
5. Diverse Food Options
After clearing Jeju racing, screen sports games, laser survival, Ringo, and the sky swing, half a day flew by! As time passed, I got hungry and bought a snack. The food options here are as diverse as the activities, so you can choose according to your taste. Booster Station selling hot dogs and 어묵, handmade donut Onatsu, national barista cafe Space Cup,
Jeju specialty restaurant Broccoli Ridge, etc. It was like a large-scale theme park representing Jeju. :)
9.81 Park allows you to experience the beauty of Jeju reeds while providing a solid combination of indoor and outdoor activities, making it a great travel destination to spend a fulfilling day. Remember this place and be sure to go enjoy reed racing!
