New Indoor Date Course in Jinju, Gyeongnam
Laser Arena: A Fun Place to Visit
When the weather gets cold and outdoor activities become difficult, it’s time to have fun indoors!
Recently, a new date course has opened! How about a real-life survival game similar to Sudden Attack?
We visited the Laser Arena located on the 5th floor of the Olive Young building next to the main gate of Gyeongsang National University’s Chiram Campus.
The building has a dedicated underground parking lot, making it easy to park, and it is conveniently located near a bus stop.
As we entered, the somewhat dark atmosphere made our hearts race.
First, we stored our belongings like clothes and phones in lockers. Right next to the lockers, drinks are available for purchase to enjoy during the games.
At the Laser Arena in Jinju, you can enjoy a total of four different games: a survival shooting game using lasers, a problem-solving game called the Hibiscus Flower Challenge, a maze challenge where you must avoid lasers to cross to the other side, and a press challenge where you find subtle differences.
The survival game costs 8,000 KRW per game, while the challenges are 4,000 KRW per person.
We started with the survival shooting game. Before entering, we registered our nicknames and put on sensor vests.
The game involves using a laser gun that operates when held with both hands to hit the sensors on the opponents' vests.
Once inside the dark and spacious area, it felt thrilling, almost like being inside a game. The excitement of not knowing where an opponent might appear and the fun of hitting them make it great for friends, couples, and families.
Next, we tried the group game called the Hide Challenge, where we had to solve problems while avoiding the eyes watching from the walls.
This game is best enjoyed as a group, as solving the problems alone won’t work.
Then we moved on to the Maze Challenge, where we felt like the protagonist from the movie 'Mission Impossible,' avoiding lasers pouring from the walls.
We had to navigate through 12 increasingly difficult levels while avoiding lasers.
Crawling on the floor and stretching our legs to clear the next stage was exhilarating, and there are various patterns of lasers to keep it interesting.
Finally, the Press Challenge, as the name suggests, involves finding specific colors or patterns and pressing buttons on the wall. It may sound easy, but it requires teamwork to spot everything.
If you’re tired of the same old dates and activities, have a fun time at the Laser Arena in Jinju, a unique indoor date course!
