How to Take the Perfect Kyeongju Souvenir Photo with Face Bread!

Hi everyone! I recently took a trip to Kyeongju last month!

Have you seen these kinds of photos on social media? It's the trendy way to take souvenir photos in Kyeongju these days!

I'm going to show you how to easily create these Instagram-worthy shots (iPhone based).

First, the key ingredient:

Kyeongju Face Bread! Each bread costs ₩2,000. The size is small, but the price is good and they're delicious! The bread has a chewy texture and is filled with sweet bean paste. It's totally my style ㅠ I bought it again on my last day!

Seokguram Face Bread is black sesame flavored! Shilla Smile Face Bread is sweet potato with honey flavored.

If you want just a few for souvenirs, I recommend buying a box anyway! I bought a few individually on my last day and when I got back to Seoul, the bread was stuck to the bag lolㅠㅠ

Anyway, once you've bought your Kyeongju Face Bread, it's time for the next step!

Finding a good photo spot!

We decided to take our photos at Daereungwon, which is close to Hwangridan-gil.

- I recommend the Hououchong tomb area because the Cheonmachong tomb area is usually crowded!

Once you've decided on a location:

1. Take a full-body photo of the person.

2. Take a photo of the hand holding the bread.

3. Go to your gallery, long-press on the photo of the hand holding the bread, tap the share button, and then 'Save Image' to remove the background.

Now, open Instagram and go to make a story!

5. Tap the sticker icon at the top.

6. You'll see a screen like this! Tap the photo button to add a photo from your gallery.

Now, bring in the photo you took of your hand holding the bread!

Just match the location of the face bread with the person's face, and you're done with your Kyeongju travel souvenir photo!

It sounds complicated when I write it all out, but it's actually pretty simple!
