Gapeong is the perfect day trip destination, just an hour away from Seoul by car!

Gapeong has so many cafes, right? Among them, I'd like to introduce 'The Gang,' a cafe with amazing views, and even offers a free motorboat ride with your visit! It's a large cafe where three generations of mothers and daughters had a great time!!! Let me tell you about it.

We simply visited the cafe, and we got to ride a motorboat for free!

At first, I couldn't believe it, but it was true! We rode the boat and went around the Bukhan River. It was so much fun riding the boat and enjoying the cool breeze on the river. I thought this place was truly for its customers.

There's a beautiful lawn garden right in front, and you can enjoy the river view and have a relaxing time. Just being here was healing. A day at 'The Gang' in Gapeong! To sum it up, everyone was satisfied.

The exterior of 'The Gang' cafe in Gapeong, with its fairytale-like appearance and beautiful garden, made us cheer as soon as we got out of the car. I couldn't believe how pretty the white building looked against the blue sky and lush green trees.

The view from the side of the building is peaceful and refreshing. My mother, who rarely goes out, was amazed that such a place existed. I was also impressed by the scenery.

Parking Information

The parking lot was much bigger than I expected. If you go further down the road, there's a shaded area where most cars were parked. We just parked in the outdoor parking lot. It was a bit hot in the sun, but it wasn't a big problem since we could turn on the air conditioner before leaving.

Interior

We entered along the blue path. This place is pet-friendly, but only the outdoor garden is allowed. When the weather gets cooler, it will be a great place for many people to visit with their cute dogs.

The interior has an open and airy feel, which is refreshing. Of course, the air conditioning helps, but the coolness from the view was great. First, we found a seat and then headed to the counter to order drinks.

I ordered drinks under my mother's orders that they had to be cold. There was also a bakery section near the window. We ordered a few pastries to enjoy.

Special Benefits of 'The Gang' Cafe in Gapeong!

You can ride a motorboat for free when you visit the cafe, and you can also use the waterfront terrace. With a river view, sky view, and photo zone, there's no reason not to go. However, for safety reasons, children and dogs are not allowed on the waterfront terrace.

Outdoor Lawn Garden

Outside, there was a lawn garden. Tables are also available under large parasols. It was nice to sit and relax while feeling the river breeze.

The clouds are working hard these days. The clear and sunny sky with white clouds was great to see. The weather was so nice that we took a lot of pictures in the outdoor garden. Many people were taking pictures.

Enjoying the Cafe

My daughter set up the drinks to take a picture for her social media. She's been busy uploading to social media lately. It looked like a good composition, so I tried it too!

When you order drinks, you get a boating ticket. You can go down to the waterfront terrace at the scheduled time. In the meantime, we sat down and enjoyed a sweet time with cool drinks.

Since it was our first visit, we talked about our impressions of the place. First of all, we were satisfied with the open view. The Bukhan River in front of us added to the peacefulness. We chatted and waited for our boating time. My mother liked it very much too.

Free Motorboat Ride

We moved to the waterfront terrace to board the motorboat. After arriving, we showed our tickets to the staff, put on life jackets, and waited for a moment before boarding. The power of a large cafe in Gapeong is amazing!

They were well-organized with sizes for children, women, and men, so you can wear the right size when boarding.

I told my mother to sit in the middle seat in case she was scared, and then we got ready to ride.

At first, she seemed a little scared, but after a while, she enjoyed the coolness. She used to be the owner of a water ski dock 20 years ago, but I guess she's become more afraid since then? lol

We took a fun ride and reminisced about the old days. The sound of the river water lapping against the dock was also nice to hear.

Honest Review

A day at 'The Gang,' a cafe with a view in Gapeong!

First of all, the drinks and coffee, which are the basics, were delicious, so it passed! The coffee wasn't bitter or burnt. And there were simple pastries to enjoy, so it was perfect for a weekend day.

Most of all, the most impressive thing was the free boating!

It was great for adding a fun memory with the people I came with. Most people just drink coffee, take a walk around the garden, chat under the air conditioner, and leave, but this place is special because you can have a fun boating experience. After visiting, I posted it on social media, and my friends and acquaintances asked me where it was.

It felt like another fun thing was added to my Gapeong trip, and it made me feel good.
