Fun-Filled Day at Jeju Aewol: Pokemon Events and Exciting Activities!

I recently visited Jeju Aewol with my family and had a blast participating in Pokemon events and enjoying various exciting activities.

It was so much fun that there was never a dull moment. Let me summarize and introduce our amazing day.

Jeju 9.81 Park

Basic Information

1. Autumn Silver Grass

Upon arriving at 9.81 Park in Aewol, Jeju, I was surprised by its much larger scale than expected and amazed by the beautiful surrounding scenery.

I could see plenty of romantic silver grass, the star of autumn, here. These days, people go to fields of silver grass and oreums to see it, but here you can enjoy both experiences and activities at once.

2. Parking

The parking lot is terraced and spacious, making parking easy. Instead of trying to park close, we parked below and enjoyed the autumn atmosphere with a 3-minute walk to the entrance.

Before entering, we found a giant Snorlax Pokemon lying among the silver grass! We took a picture of the sunbathing Snorlax because it was so cute.

3. Packages and How to Use

Since we came with our child, we booked the Full Package in advance. However, there were also practical packages that allowed you to choose only racing or indoor games, so you can choose according to your preference.

The ticket is a bracelet type, like at an amusement park. The bracelet has a built-in chip, making it easy to use for experiences and reservations with a simple tag. A time-saving tip is to install the 981 Park app on your way here.

4. Photo Zone

Before heading to Central after receiving our tickets, we checked out the cute photo zone. There was an adorable Pikachu! It was so cute that we couldn't resist taking a picture.

5. Indoor Sports Experience

We hadn't even started properly yet, but there was so much to see that we finally arrived at the sports experience area. This place, called LAB 981, is full of Jeju activities and was the spot I was most looking forward to.

As we enter winter, it was perfect for those looking for fun things to do in Jeju indoors.

Various games played through the screen can be enjoyed by all generations. On this day, horseback riding was popular among women,

Adults who looked like parents were competing in archery and screen soccer, and it was fun to watch them having a good time.

Our family also tried clay shooting and basketball games. I didn't know I had such a talent for shooting! I cleared the bonus stage and happily moved on to racing :)

6. Gravity Racing

The racing experience, which felt like the highlight of Jeju Aewol, was truly the best. Racing down the vast track with a view of the Jeju sea through gravity acceleration was so thrilling! I can still feel the autumn breeze on my face.

There are a total of 3 courses: Course 3, which is a gentle slope suitable for beginners; Course 2, where you can experience different records and speeds depending on your driving skills; and Course 1 for advanced players, which requires different speeds and slopes. Challenge yourself according to your skill level.

So, what's my score..? Unfortunately, I didn't get first place, but I proudly ranked 3rd! Although I lost my ranking a few minutes later, I was happy for a moment..???? Anyway, when you return to Central after the race, your ranking is displayed on a large screen, so don't miss taking a picture.

Also, I thought it was amazing that you can check your record in real-time through the app and watch videos taken with the GoPro while driving. I watched the video on the way home and my funny expressions were unbearable. You can save the video, so be sure to pose pretty????

7. Amenities

You need to stay for at least an hour or two to fully enjoy it, and there are many hands-on Jeju activities that require you to move your body, so I felt hungry. They also sell donuts that you can pop into your mouth, and at the Booster Station, they had mouth-watering hot dogs and sparkling soda, so I bought them as a snack with my child.

The brand store Space Cup also sells Pokemon-related goods that make you want to own them, as well as t-shirts, sunglasses, accessories, and souvenirs, so it was good for stocking up on souvenirs.

It was a fun place to run around and enjoy in Aewol. Nearby are Saebyeol Oreum and Eoeum-ri Silver Grass Field, which are perfect for autumn, and Aewol Beach is also close, so I hope you have a fulfilling trip by including them in your itinerary.
