I heard about this pleasant library while traveling in Goesan and decided to visit. Although libraries have improved significantly, the Goesan County Library exceeded my expectations. It felt more like a stylish book café than a traditional library, beautifully designed and functionally organized.
First, the ample parking space made it easy to park comfortably. For those driving, having parking available is a significant advantage, allowing for a worry-free visit.
One particularly impressive feature was the book drive-thru system. It allows users to return books directly from their vehicles, 24/7, which I found truly innovative. This service is incredibly useful for those who may find it difficult to visit during regular library hours, providing convenience for returning books during commutes or late at night.
The library is closed on Mondays, public holidays, and other days designated by the library director. Its operating hours are from 9 AM to 10 PM on weekdays and from 9 AM to 6 PM on weekends.
The fact that it operates until 10 PM on weekdays is excellent for working adults and students. Currently, the library holds approximately 24,000 books across various genres.
