Exploring the Cherry Blossoms at Yongwonjeong

Hello, this is reporter Kim Min-hye.
Currently, Geochang County is in full bloom with cherry blossoms.
As a place known for its cherry blossom spots, I would like to share the flowering status of Yongwonjeong Rice Bridge, a perfect spot for capturing life's memorable moments.
You can search for Yongwonjeong on your navigation system to find the Rice Bridge.
Parking and restrooms are available. The photo was taken around 5 PM on Monday, April 6, after the rain when the sun was just about to come out.
Due to the cloudy weather, it appears quite serene.
The cherry blossoms have not fully bloomed yet.
The Chinese characters inscribed on the Rice Bridge read "Banghakdae," which signifies a place where cranes visit or stay, suggesting a scenic spot on high ground.
Traditionally, cranes symbolize elegance and longevity, which is why such names are often given to beautiful and tranquil natural sites.
At Yongwonjeong Rice Bridge, you can enjoy stunning views with cherry blossoms framing the background for beautiful portraits.
The photo of the cherry blossom status was taken on April 6 at around 5 PM. We expect the blossoms to fully bloom with more sunlight.
Yongwonjeong is a pavilion located in Byeonghang Village, built by descendants to honor the scholar Gu Hwa Oh Su.
It is a two-story building with a unique octagonal roof and is decorated with colorful paintings on the ceiling, featuring sculptures of blue and yellow dragons.
The area around Yongwonjeong is frequently visited by photography teams, who come day and night to capture the beauty of the Rice Bridge.
