Exploring the Beautiful Forest Garden No. 17

I visited the Forest Garden No. 17 in Chungcheongbuk-do.
Located in Seongsan-ri, Ochang-eup, Cheongju, the 'Forest Garden' is as beautiful as its name suggests.
Walking through the garden felt like stepping into a fairy tale.
Address: 581-1 Seongsan-ri, Ochang-eup, Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do
Let’s explore the Forest Garden.
The slender conifers create a charming path.
It feels like something wonderful will happen as you walk along this path.
The private garden is one of the types established under the 'Act on the Establishment and Promotion of Arboretums and Gardens,' managed and operated by individuals, corporations, or organizations and open to the public.
Since 2015, Chungcheongbuk-do has been operating the private garden system, and last month, the Forest Garden was newly registered as the 17th private garden.
The Forest Garden preserves the appearance of the forest and its ecological diversity, providing visitors with a space for relaxation and healing.
Although it is winter now, with flowers gone and leaves fallen, various flowers such as peonies, hydrangeas, and lilies bloom in different seasons.
There are also fruit trees, with unpicked citrus fruit indicating their presence.
At the lower part of the garden, reeds and pink muhly grass enhance the atmosphere.
There are also chairs available, perfect for taking photos and enjoying tea.
Next to the reeds and pink muhly grass, there is an area that looks mystical.
Inside, white curtains create an artistic ambiance.
Here, you can enjoy tea while closely observing nature.
The space is beautiful, making it a great spot for commemorative photos.
The Forest Garden has outdoor tables and chairs scattered throughout.
It’s a great place to pause and connect more with nature.
Above the Forest Garden, there is a café with large windows offering a view outside.
Enjoying bread and coffee while chatting, I found the garden beautiful even in its winter state.
It was a healing time at the Forest Garden, where I enjoyed contemplation and relaxation, feeling as if I had stepped out of a fairy tale.
