Bongsusan Arboretum and Yesan Oriental White Stork Park?
Bongsusan Arboretum
Yesan's autumn retreat, where the fall foliage is most beautiful.
Yesan Bongsusan Arboretum is like a giant 'autumn color palette'
created by a diverse array of tree species coming together.
The arboretum is tinged with vibrant autumn colors throughout,
so simply taking a leisurely stroll along the trails
will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the unique scents and atmosphere of autumn.
In particular, the arboretum's suspension bridge is a symbol of Bongsusan Arboretum
and a must-visit photo spot for everyone!
The autumn scenery unfolding beneath the bridge is so beautiful
that even just taking a photo will capture the full essence of autumn.
The forest path, where various maple trees gather,
is a healing course in itself.
In the phytoncide-filled Bongsusan Forest,
sit on a bench and gaze blankly at the scenery for a while,

Yesan Oriental White Stork Park
A natural ecological resting place where the dreams of storks blossom.
Yesan Oriental White Stork Park is
Korea's only white stork restoration space
created for the natural return of the Natural Monument No. 199, 'Oriental White Stork'.
Yesan County began the restoration project in 2009
and succeeded in releasing white storks into the wild for the first time in the country in 2015.
Now, more than 300 white storks
have established themselves in Yesan Oriental White Stork Park.
The park is well-equipped with ecological wetlands, open spaces,
and a white stork culture center,
allowing you to slowly walk around and observe
the ecology of the white storks up close.
In particular, in the fall, the autumn foliage around the wetlands
and the scenery of Baegwol Mountain harmonize
with the elegant appearance of the white storks,
creating an even more beautiful autumn stroll.
The sight of white storks walking along the waterfront under the autumn sun,
the scenery of the quiet ecological wetlands,
and the white stork culture center experience enjoyed with children
make Yesan Oriental White Stork Park a place where learning and
healing from nature come together.
