As the children's summer vacation officially begins, one of the best ways to enjoy the break is through water activities.
Last weekend, I visited a unique water play event in Dangjin City with my child.
Every weekend, a bubble event takes place at the Dangjin Sports Complex.

Since we planned to play briefly, we didn't bring any food, but others who had already visited were enjoying simple snacks on the deck.
We arrived at 10 AM to secure a good spot, and there were still plenty of great deck spots available.
We brought a mat, and the shade from the trees made it comfortable to wait while watching the kids play in the water.
Although the facility is not very large, it has enough amenities for children to enjoy water play.
There are water buckets, slides, and mushroom-shaped waterfalls, providing a refreshing experience.
Watching the splashing water was invigorating.
Children must wear swimsuits or rash guards and go barefoot to enter the playground.
The water playground is staffed with safety personnel, and regular water quality checks ensure that visitors can enjoy their time with peace of mind.
In one corner of the playground, there are tubes filled with water.
While the water is not very deep, it's perfect for cooling off during the hot summer.
There's also a fishing game with fish toys for younger children to enjoy.
Many families were enjoying the cool water play during the weekend.

I came to Dangjin specifically for this bubble gun event.
After seeing a video on the Dangjin City Instagram, I knew I had to experience it!
While there are many water playgrounds across the country, this is the first free one I've seen that offers a bubble gun event.
The kids had so much fun getting sprayed with bubbles that it was contagious!
The bubble gun event at the Dangjin Sports Complex takes place twice a day on weekends and is conducted when a good number of children gather.
