An emotionally rich exhibition has opened at the Sinan Yellow Sea Exchange Museum!
The '1st Jeollanam-do Masterpiece Tourist Destination Digital Poem (Dica-si) Exhibition' captures the seasonal landscapes and representative tourist attractions of Jeollanam-do.
What is Dica-si?
'Dica-si' is a new literary genre that combines photography + short poetry.
It is characterized by expressing the emotions and messages of a moment captured in a photograph through a short poem.
It is a form of artistic expression that fills you with emotion just by looking at it and is recently gaining much love.
Works Featured in the Exhibition
This exhibition features about 60 winning entries from the 1st Cultural Tourism Guide Jeonnam Masterpiece Tourist Destination Dica-si Contest.
The works showcase the diverse charms of Jeollanam-do, set against the backdrop of:
- Seasonal changes
- Natural landscapes
- Unique cultural heritage
from 22 cities and counties in Jeollanam-do.
Introduction of Sinan-gun Winning Works
Two works from Sinan-gun have been selected and are being exhibited.
'Imjado Croaker Statue' (Best Guide)
→ Symbolically expresses the identity of island culture and the meaning of traditional livelihoods.
'Angel Bridge' (Guide Jeong Haeng-yeong)
→ Expresses the beauty and vitality of a bridge connecting islands with emotion.
These two works capture the nature of Sinan and the identity of the island, attracting the attention of many visitors.
