Welcome to a journey through Danyang, where you can explore diverse news and attractions at a glance!

As we approach mid-June, the weather is becoming wonderfully sunny!

Many people are heading outdoors on weekends to enjoy leisurely walks.

Did you know that Danyang offers numerous scenic spots perfect for a relaxing stroll amidst beautiful natural landscapes, providing a comforting escape from the stresses of daily life?

Today, I'd like to recommend some walking trails in Danyang where people of all ages can rejuvenate and wander at ease.

Why not visit these famous walking spots in Danyang this weekend and spend some quality time with family, friends, or loved ones, creating cherished memories?

Here are some recommended healing walks to comfort your tired daily life! Danyang Walking Trail Recommendations

Danyang River Trail (Danyanggang Zando)

Opened in September 2017, the Danyang River Trail is a must-visit course for Danyang travelers.

This 1.12km trail features a walkway along the previously inaccessible cliffs of the Namhan River, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in nature while strolling along this famous Danyang walking spot.

Located in Jeokseong-myeon, Danyang-gun, the Danyang River Trail offers a panoramic view of the Namhan River, allowing you to fully appreciate the lush greenery and the picturesque scenery of the river.

You can also enjoy discovering various plants in this quiet and peaceful setting! You'll find diverse flora such as the Japanese elm, staghorn sumac, date plum, rock hydrangea, boxwood, and bush clover thriving here.

Strolling under the warm sunlight, admiring the stunning reflections on the Namhan River, you'll feel as if you're walking through a panorama.

The Danyang River Trail's deck path is only 2m wide, so please proceed with caution.

As you walk along the beautiful natural scenery, you'll eventually reach Sangjin Bridge.

With lights installed along the deck path, it offers beautiful scenery both day and night, making it a popular Danyang walking spot for many visitors!

Nearby, you'll find many attractions such as the Moss Tunnel, Skywalk, Suyanggae Prehistoric Relics Exhibition Hall and Suyanggae Light Tunnel, so I recommend visiting this weekend for a healing escape from your tiring daily life.

Sogeumjeong Park

Located in Sambong-ro, Danyang-eup, Danyang-gun, Sogeumjeong Park is a famous spot for Danyang walking courses.

Danyang Sogeumjeong Park is a park created on the old Sangjin Pass, said to be a place where travelers used to rest.

With a wooden deck path built along the Danyang River, it's a great place to take a leisurely stroll while feeling the breeze from the Namhan River, making it a popular destination for many Danyang travelers.

In particular, you can find a rose tunnel full of roses that bloom in late May and June at Sogeumjeong Park!

The rose tunnel stretches for about 1km along the Danyang River, which flows next to Danyang city, and this section has about 10,000 roses creating a long tunnel, allowing you to fully enjoy the blooming roses. It is a famous Danyang attraction.

Sogeumjeong Park is home to various monuments commemorating the achievements of ancestors from Danyang who have done great things for the country.

In addition, the Tower of soaring, located in the center of the park, serves as a landmark in Sogeumjeong Park, and you can see various commemorative sculptures gathered together.

This weekend, why not take a walk in Sogeumjeong Park with family, friends, or loved ones, enjoying the cool breeze of the Namhan River and the fragrant scent of roses?

Danyang Imagination Street

Danyang has the Neurinbo Gangmulgil, an eco-friendly forest path along the Namhan River.

It is a 16.1km walking path with a total of 5 themes: Sambong-gil, Seokmul-gil, Geumgung-gil, Imagination Street, and Suyanggae History and Culture Road along the Namhan River.

You can also enjoy numerous natural sceneries, including Dodamsambong Peaks, stone structures, and Geumgul Cave!

Because the ridge path is relatively gentle, it is a Danyang walking course that people of all ages can easily walk.

Among them, Imagination Street, the 4th course of Neurinbo Gangmulgil, is a promenade from the Gosu Bridge area to Sogeumjeong Park, and anyone can easily walk along the neatly laid wooden deck, see various waterfront flowers and long rose tunnels, and see Mancheonha Skywalk towering on the top of the mountain at a glance.

After the sun sets, lights turn on along the mountain range, allowing you to see the beautiful night view of Danyang.

Gosu Bridge, which was beautiful even during the day, completely changes its appearance when darkness falls, and the lights installed on the railing illuminate the promenade, allowing you to take a walk until late.

There is also Gyeong Market, the largest traditional market in Danyang-gun, nearby, where you can experience a variety of foods.

This weekend, we recommend choosing Neurinbo Gangmulgil Imagination Street, where people of all ages can easily walk and enjoy the beautiful Danyang streets day and night, as a Danyang walking course.
