Goesan Organic Expo Plaza & Goesan Kimchi Festival

In Goesan-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, various festivals take place at the Goesan Organic Expo Plaza.
The Goesan Kimchi Festival will be held at the Goesan Organic Expo Plaza from Thursday, November 6th to November 9th, 2025.
This festival provides a convenient way to make kimchi, using the finest ingredients, including cabbage and clean chili peppers grown in Goesan's unique natural environment.
The Goesan Kimchi Festival offers a one-stop kimchi-making experience, from experiencing delicious and easy kimchi preparation with Goesan salted cabbage, produced in the clean natural environment of Goesan-gun, to transportation.
Of course, the Goesan Organic Expo Plaza, which I visited on a weekday afternoon, was very quiet.
This space will soon transform into a festival venue.
Normally, the 'Goesan-gun Sunrise/Sunset Living Sports Class' is operated here.
The living sports class is held in this space from March to December, Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM.
The phrase 'Natural Special City Goesan' is very fitting.
I was surprised to see a few out-of-season roses blooming.
Could it be that they only bloom in Goesan because of the good air?
The fountain also operates.
It runs from 11 AM to 4 PM.
When a festival is held, it's a festival venue, but usually, the Goesan Organic Expo Plaza is a park that provides a comfortable rest.
There are impressive sculptures in various places, benches to rest on, and trees all around, giving you the feeling of being in a forest.
I was able to take a break while looking around in a peaceful atmosphere during the weekday daytime.
There is also a gateball field.
