Have you ever experienced the sensation of spring breezes filling your mouth? When you think of 'seasonal webfoot octopus', what comes to mind?

Today, let me share with you the delightful combination of chewy webfoot octopus and bouncy kalguksu, featured at the renowned 'Daesung Seafood Kalguksu' in Anseompo Port, Dangjin.

This restaurant has also been introduced on 'Korean's Table'. Shall we take a closer look?

Daesung Seafood Kalguksu Overview

Address: 76 Anseompo Port Road, Songak-eup, Dangjin-si

Operating Hours: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Closed on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month)

During the 741st episode of 'Korean's Table', the restaurant was so popular that finding parking was a challenge due to the number of cars!

True to its reputation as the home of the 'Anseom Wind Festival', a traditional folk festival celebrating fishermen's safety and bountiful catches, Anseompo Port was bustling with visitors over the weekend.

The Daesung Seafood Kalguksu restaurant I visited recently was featured in the episode with Choi Soo-jong.

The seafood kalguksu is priced at 10,000 KRW per serving, and you can add octopus or seasonal webfoot octopus to your order. Pairing it with spicy marinated flatfish enhances the flavors perfectly.

Enjoying kalguksu with pickled vegetables and spicy green chili was a delightful experience. Today, I indulged in 1.5 kg of fresh webfoot octopus added to my kalguksu, which was truly a feast.

The broth was deep and refreshing, and the seasonal live webfoot octopus was incredibly tender and chewy, making me feel I was served a true 'gourmet meal'.

The kalguksu noodles maintained their bouncy texture throughout the meal, adding to the joy of eating.

The broth, enriched with ingredients like pumpkin, mushrooms, dried pollack, radish, and shrimp, was visually appealing and unforgettable in taste.

Even after 3 PM, the street of food stalls at Anseompo Port was still lively. Despite a rush of lunchtime diners, many cars continued to fill the area.

There are several seafood kalguksu stalls lined up at Anseompo Port. Parking is convenient either directly in front of the stalls or at the public parking lot near the festival grounds.

Located in Dangjin, Anseompo Port is a famous sentimental travel destination known for its red lighthouse and seafood kalguksu street. It’s a perfect getaway for a healing experience away from the bustling city.

This beautiful spot is loved for its blue sea promenade and camping spots, and it’s also historically significant as the site of the 'Anseom Wind Festival', a cultural heritage of Chungcheongnam-do.

The festival will take place from March 18 to 20, 2026, so be sure to visit and enjoy the seasonal webfoot octopus kalguksu while experiencing this precious traditional culture.

With flags fluttering in the wind and event banners, the entrance to Anseompo is inviting.

At Daesung Seafood Kalguksu, I savored the freshness of seasonal live webfoot octopus, enjoying a drink with spicy marinated flatfish, making for a truly healing experience.

Whenever you feel nostalgic, why not escape to Anseompo Port, a warm and cozy sanctuary that feels like home?
